-IS EVERYTHING CLEAN?
We encourage everyone to ask this question! With every trip to our shop we will gladly go over everything with you upon your request! Golden Clover Tattoo Co. uses 100% disposable equipment, this means no chance of sterilization equipment failure! We meet and exceed all Health Board Standards as well as having up to date certification in "Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control Standards", even down to our counter staff. Yours safety, and ours, is our top priority.
-DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?
At this time we cannot accommodate walk in appointments.
-HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?
The minimum cost of a tattoo is $180 plus HST.
The number one question we receive emails about is a client looking for a price quote, usually with an image of a tattoo. The long and the short of it is giving you an accurate cost, or even a quote, is an impossible task over the phone/internet.
Think of someone asking you how much a car costs. The question is so general you can't possibly answer it.

-HOW DO I BOOK A TATTOO?
So you want to get tattooed but don't know how to go about it. The first step is to book a Consultation. A consult gives you a chance to come in and meet with the artist to go over your tattoo idea (Size, Placement, Design, Colours, Price, Questions)Consultations are free of charge and zero obligation.

If at the end of your consult you want to go ahead with the tattoo we will book you your tattoo appointment. All tattoo appointments require a non refundable deposit at the time of booking. The size of the deposit is determined by the scale of work to be done but is usually $200-$600 and goes towards the cost of your tattoo.
-WHAT CAN YOU COVER THIS WITH?
With Mykie being a go to artist for having you undesirable tattoo covered up, he regularly fields this question. Ultimately a consult is going to be required to answer this. He recommends that before coming in people keep a list of all the things they would like to have tattooed and bring that with them for the consult. This will give him a better understanding of what you are into as well as help the two of you brainstorm how best to decide on a tattoo you'll love!
-CAN I SEE MY DESIGN BEFORE THE TATTOO APPOINTMENT
Of course! During the consult we will discuss booking a drawing check that will happen up to 3 days prior to your first tattoo appointment.
-FORMS OF PAYMENT
We accept good old fashioned cash. Not to worry if you're a "Plastic Card" kind of person. We are conveniently located across from a CIBC with a ATM Vestibule.
-HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET TATTOOED?
Short answer 18 Years of Age. If you want to cry and complain about it you've now answered the long version of why you have to be adult. If you are willing to wait until your 18th Birthday we commend you, you will end up with the tattoo you've always wanted without the oppressive insight of your parents.
-DO YOU DO PIERCINGS?
No the studio does not have a piercer nor do we sell body jewelry.
-HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?
Roughly 2-3 weeks, depending on the individual; factors depend on quality of health and lifestyle. We provide written directions at the end of all tattoo appointments as well as going over them with you to make sure you understand how to fully care for your new tattoo.
CAN I BRING MY FRIEND WITH ME?
More the merrier. If you need a little moral support, by all means. We do however reserve the right to ask anyone to leave or wait out in the waiting room if their behaviour is lacking. Our most important job is to keep everyone safe and make sure you leave with a tattoo that you love!
